Established in 2009 Teesside Fencing Club is an informal club with aim of establishing fencing in the Teesside and East Cleveland area.  We cater for beginner to advanced fencers predominantly in foil, but Epee is growing in popularity with some club members.

We offer fencing on two nights per week in different locations; Tuesday at Skelton, East Cleveland and Thursday at Acklam, Middlesbrough.

We offer beginners courses and all members can access training lessons.The club is able to provide equipment for beginners to use. Anyone over 7 is welcome to join.

Novices are welcome so don’t be afraid to come and have a go or look in on club nights.

 

For experienced fencers you will find we are a friendly club with a number of experienced fencers always happy to see new faces.  We fence with electric scoring apparatus,conductive pistes (at Acklam); and we do have some electric equipment available to use.

 

Teesside Fencing Club fences twice a week

Tuesday evening
7.00 to 9.00pm Note time changes
Skelton Adult Education Centre, De Brus Centre, Marske Lane, Skelton.
 
*Note that entry is via the 'Adult Education Centre', and not the Youth Club.

Thursday evening
6.45 to 8.00pm Under 13s
7.30 to 10.00pm Everyone else.

 COSTS:
Juniors £16 per month
Seniors £20 per month
Payable on the first Tuesday/Thursday of every month.
Cheque to "Teesside Fencing Club" cash is ok but bring change if you can.
